It’s my first time to MIT (yes, I said that out loud). For those you new to the campus as well, you might be interested to know that there are walking maps and campus tours available. The tours are mainly designed for prospective students, but anyone can participate. The tours last 75-90 minutes at 10:15 am and 3:15 pm, but the afternoon tours don’t include the admissions information (whew!), and evidently you don’t need a reservation (but I’m still warning the office I am coming).
I plan to attend the campus tour on Wednesday, September 26th at 3:15 pm which departs from Lobby 7. It will end just in time so I can make it back for the 5:30 pm OSH workshop (see http://2018.oshwa.org/events/). Would love to not be the only one on the tour, so hope to see some of you there.
Campus Tour Info: Go to http://mitadmissions.org/visit and under “Register for a Visit” click on register online. Don’t be deterred by everything that talks about student admissions. At the end you will find a checkbox for “other visitors”.
